Velvet Riot started the way the best things do, over drinks, strong opinions,and a shared refusal to be boring.

Friends with decades of experience in hospitality, restaurants, events, and nightlife. Built in Boston, fast, demanding, and with no patience for mediocrity. We’ve spent years seeing what works, what doesn’t, and what’s painfully forgettable. We’re here for the opposite of that.

We’re obsessive about the details. The lighting, the timing, the first drink, and the last song. Every element is intentional, layered, and designed to feel effortless, even when it’s anything but.

We cut anything that feels predictable. Good isn’t good enough. Memorable is baseline.

We design experiences that feel expensive, a little chaotic in the best way, and impossible to replicate.
